Yes—go as fast as you want to—all our speeds are $29.95 for 6 months. The only stipulation is that you keep that same speed through the entire 1-year commitment period. No downgrades during the contract period.

Do I have to purchase regular landline phone service to get Direct Communications high-speed internet?
NO—we can give you a free emergency phone (ephone) in order to qualify you for our DSL/Fiber Optic Broadband service. All you have to pay is the associated taxes. (About $11 per month.)

$29.95 for any speed offer available to new broadband customers only. Current Direct Broadband customers-upgrade to any speed and keep your current price for the first 6-months.
Offer available to residential customers in Direct Communications’ phone exchange in Eagle Mountain only. A new 1-year commitment required for new and existing Direct broadband customers to take advantage of this promotion. Rates do not include applicable taxes and surcharges.
Download Speed /Upload Speeds for all packages: 3Mb /512k , 6Mb /512k , 6Mb with 1Mb Up /1Mb , 12 Mb / 1Mb, 20 Mb with 5Mb Up /5 Mb.
Broadband Installation is free with a 1-year commitment. Listed speeds are approximate and may vary depending on line conditions. You will be authorized to receive “up to” listed download and upload speeds. 12 Mb and 20 Mb not available in all areas. Call for availability. You must have fiber-to-the-home to receive 20Mb speeds. If you are on copper, 12Mb is the current top speed.
No DSL modem is required in homes with fiber optic service. DSL service requires a DSL modem in copper line areas, which must be purchased from Direct Communications for $49.95. 12Mb speeds require an ADSL2+ modem . Download and read the full DSL contract online at emcity.net.

The ePhone service rate is $1.00 . Other taxes and fees associated with regular phone service will apply. The total including taxes and fees will be about $11 per month. EPhone includes 500 minutes incoming calling, 10 minutes local outgoing calling, Unlimited 911 calling, Unlimited calls to the phone office, Directory assistance, Operator Service, Ability to make long-distance calls, Ability to make local calls. Overage minutes are 10c per minute. Regular rates for long distance, directory assistance, and operator services will apply.
A $25 phone set-up fee may apply if you are hooking up new landline service.

Direct Communications can take any action to protect our network, our rights and interests. We reserve the right to cancel or change service plan offerings at anytime without notification to subscribers.

Installation is now free if you sign a 1-year commitment.

If you do not wish to sign a 1-year commitment, installation for bundled DSL will be $250.

If you do not wish to sign a 1-year commitment for StandAlone DSL, installation on StandAlone DSL service is $390. (This is a federally-mandated (FCC & NECA) charge.)

DSL service requires a DSL modem, which must be purchased from Direct Communications for $49.95. We also have modem/router combos available for $79.95.

Fiber-to-the-home customers will not need a modem to receive DSL service--just plug your computer network directly into our fiber electronics box on the outside of your home. For more info about fiber to the home, go to our fiber optics webpage.

You may terminate the Service upon notification to DCDI. You agree to pay a $400 early cancellation fee, plus the remaining months left on the contract.
