Less paper today. More trees tomorrow.
And more money in your pocket.
On January 1, 2010, Direct Communications will be switching to paperless billing for cable tv and internet customers.**
This means we will be generating electronic bills, which will be sent to your email address each month. You will be able to pay your bill for free online, or sign up for autopay, where your monthly payment will be automatically drawn from your credit card or checking account.
You will also still be able to print a payment coupon from your online account and mail in a regular check like you do now, if you prefer to pay by check. We will always be happy to receive your payment, so don't be shy to be old fashioned and mail in a check.
WE NEED YOU TO SIGN UP FOR E-BILLING! Do it before Feb 15, 2010, and get a $2 discount on your bill for the next 6 months.
You can still receive a paper bill after January 1, if you really want one, but a paper bill will cost $3.00 per month. If you have not signed up for e-billing by December 15, 2009, we will assume you want to continue to receive a paper bill, and your January bill will contain an additional $3.00 fee for generating and mailing a paper bill.
NOTE: If you are a Cable TV customer without access to a computer or internet, you may be eligible to have the paper bill fee waived under a senior discount. Please call and ask for this exemption if you are eligible--we cannot waive the fee unless you ask us to.
Please sign up now for e-billing to make this transition easier. If you sign up now, you will receive a $2 discount on your bill for the next 6 months. (Offer expires Feb 15, 2010.)
Please call us at 208 548 2345 if you have any questions or concerns about this change.
