Here are a few of the community service projects we have been involved in the past year.

We are dedicated to improving and building up the local communities we serve, and creating opportunities for people in rural communities.

We bring big-city technology to small-town folks, and we will not compromise our small-town values.
Values such as:
Trust.
Friendly customer service.
Affordability
Family.
Friends.
Community.
Education.

Direct Communications is headquartered in Rockland, Idaho, which is a small, rural town 40 miles southwest of Pocatello. We have been a family owned business since 1954, and view our company as a way to enrich the lives of our employees and their families, and maintain a vibrant community here in Rockland.

Community Projects we were involved in during 2010:

2010 Family Fun Day

Direct Communications sponsored a booth at Family Fun Day 2010 at Ross Park in Pocatello. The kids loved our homemade Gak-made from elmers glue, liquid starch and water color paint. Call and ask for the recipie.

Community Projects we have been involved in during 2006:

Rockland TreesOn October 24, 2006, employees from Direct Communications donated their day to help secure trees for Rockland. Rockland was gifted 30 trees by a farmer near Big Sky, but we first had to dig them up, wrap the roots in burlap and wire, and transport them 30 miles back to the little town of Rockland. The trees were then planted around the Rockland School and the town cemetery. Special thanks to Denise Ralphs from the Rockland city office for organizing this grant for our town, and everyone else who donated their labor, equipment and resources that day to beautifying Rockland.

From left to right: Brigham Griffin, Austin Turley and Bruce Steed from Direct Communications, with Lavell Parish from Power County load trees to be transported.
